Why did you chose your company name / What does it mean to you?

  1. It took me about a month to come up with the name. I wanted something that was universal that I could make different apparel with and something unique.

  2. Alsydes (pronounced “All sides”), means for any and everybody. It means no matter what your race or gender you’re welcomed with open arms to be a part of the chill everyday lifestyle we like to offer.

What are your goals for your company for the rest of this year?

I want to grow the brand tremendously and get it to be recognized around the whole country and having multiple people joining the lifestyle.

What Inspired you to start your company?

I’ve always loved clothes since I could remember. I do photography for a music label Rubberbangang Inc., and for a short time I started giving them ideas for new gear, and then they taught me to how to actually make shirts.  But, I had so many different ideas that I couldn’t really use them for their brand.  So I ended up starting my own and now I’m here.

Did you always want to be an entrepreneur?

Yes I always wanted to be an entrepreneur.  Ever since I was 8 years old, I told myself I wanted to be my own boss or own some type of business.  I didn’t know what kind of business it would be…fast forward 11 years later I own two businesses that I love doing.

Words of advice you would give to someone getting into your field?

Advice I would give getting in my field is, you have to have a passion for it.   Because, if you are just in it for the money you won’t last at all.  You may go weeks where you aren’t meeting sales, and that’s when people will give it up.

What is the message you want to deliver to people?

Stay focused, believe and trust in your vision.  It won’t take overnight, but if you keep at it eventually you’ll reach your goals.

How long have you been in your craft?

I have been in my craft for 4 months now.

Any upcoming events or releases we can include?

March 7 we’re dropping our 2020 spring Tees in Black, Red, Carolina blue and tie dye.
