The Lash Pointe started about a year ago when this pandemic shut down everything. “What inspired me to start my company — hmm, to be honest, this pandemic really woke me up into putting my dedication into my brand and bringing it to life just how I pictured it. My hours were getting cut at the job I was working for; I was pregnant, and I needed another hustle and another base of income to bring into my home” (owner of LASH POINTE LLC). Many of us entrepreneurs got our wake-up call to pursue our dreams after either losing our jobs…or having our hours significantly reduced. “I chose to name my company The Lash Pointe because I did not want to incorporate anything with my name on it. When I chose the name, I sort of used my brainstorming process as if I were to open a shop, what would I name it? So, I came up with THE LASH POINTE LLC. My business is like my baby! It defines me and what I love to do, and I have built this brand for my daughters (I have 3 of them). I wanted them to spend their coming years watching their mother do what she loves most instead of being stagnant or settling for a company job and not be happy” (owner of LASH POINTE LLC). The Lash Pointe LLC provides training on becoming Lashologist, which is an expert in the fine art of eyelash extension application. Lashologist have the potential to earn an income of #3,000 – $15,000 a month, and LASH POINTE LLC will help give the training and knowledge needed to do so. Right now, I am working on traveling to different cities to do lash trainings both for classic training and combo training which consists of classic, hybrid + volume. And I will also be adding a strictly volume & mega volume training for my girls out there, but you must be certified in classic to attend that course. And Brow Lamination Training is also now available. I will be adding permanent makeup services such as Ombre Powder Brows, Microblading + Microshading” ” (owner of LASH POINTE LLC). You can also find LASH POINTE LLC’s new strip lash line on www.thelashpointe.com.
Why did you choose your company name / What does it mean to you?
- I chose to name my company The Lash Pointe because I did not want to incorporate anything with my name on it. When I chose the name, I sort of used my brainstorming process as if I were to open a shop, what would I name it? So, I came up with THE LASH POINTE LLC. My business is like my baby! It defines me and what I love to do, and I have built this brand for my daughters (I have 3 of them). I wanted them to spend their coming years watching their mother do what she loves most instead of being stagnant or settling for a company job and not be happy.
What are your goals for your company for the new upcoming year?
- My goal for the new upcoming year is to open a beauty bar in the Bay Area that incorporates all things beauty. From hair, nails, lashes, brows, skincare, waxing, etc.
What Inspired you to start your company?
- What inspired me to start my company — hmm, to be honest, this pandemic really woke me up into putting my dedication into my brand and bringing it to life just how I pictured it. My hours were getting cut at the job I was working for; I was pregnant, and I needed another hustle and another base of income to bring into my home.

Did you always want to be an entrepreneur?
- Absolutely! For a long time, I was kind of comfortable in working with my job but living in the Bay Area with no family nearby made it kind of hard for me to maneuver when it came to going to work and trying to find someone to watch my kids, so owning my own business and making my own hours just works way better for me.
Words of advice you would give to someone getting into your field.
- I would say “DO NOT GIVE UP and be patient with yourself.” The lash industry has been on the rise for quite some time now and it is a very tedious craft to learn and understand but once you get it down, it is worth it financially and it is even more worth it seeing your clients happy when they leave your studio.

What is the message you want to deliver to people?
- The biggest message from me – would have to be that if you really put your mind and heart into what it is you want in life, you have the ability to bring it to life and it will come naturally if you are passionate about it. So why not make your passion your paycheck!
How long have you been in your craft?
- I started in the lash industry when this pandemic had started – so it has been about a year now. But I have always dipped and dabbed in the beauty industry here and there in my past as well, so it is something I always had a thing for.
